Travelling to a new country can be exciting. The new experiences you will go through, new people and all the places you will visit. But it can also be daunting; leaving the familiarity of home and embarking on a new journey. In this article we have provided a few tips and tricks to make your trip that much less stressful.
Our Essential Travel Checklist

Travel Policies
Before embark on your journey be sure to check any travel policies or health requirements. Make sure you are in a position to obtain the required documentation at least a week before your intended travel date.

Check your Passports
Your passport is the most important thing you will carry while travelling. . Be sure you have your passprts in a safe, secure location. Do not give your passprts to anyone who isn’t assisting with your boarding or customs clearance.

Luggage
The excitiement of traveling can often lead you to overpack. Each airline has a weight restriction, with a fee for every extra kilo. Be sure to check the baggage allowance of your select airline.
4. Booking Flights
Cyprus is comprised of two regions, the Northern Turkish territory and the Southern Greek territory. The largest airport in North Cyprus is Ercan International Airport. Ensure your final destination is Ercan!

Transit & Turkey
North Cyprus is a Turkish Territory, as such all flights to North Cyprus make transit in Turkey. In the event that you will need to stay in Turkey for a few nights before your connecting flight please ensure you have a transit visa. Should you need to stay a night in a Turkey ensure you have made the necessary bookings and reservations.
9. Booking your Accommodation
Often travellers using travel agents have accommodation on arrival. However, it is always a good idea to check out other option that may be cheaper and better suited to your budget.

Airport Pick-ups/ Taxis
Be sure to arrange your airport pick up or transportation before arrival. Ensure they are aware of your arrival time and where you need to go. Discuss prices before hand. If you can negotiate prices in the local currency this will be good as to avoid being overcharged. This however, isn’t your only option, there are always taxis and buses available upon arrival for you.
